The fact that Rory did the same thing takes the sting out of this one a bit. I do hate the look though.

Oh but you did. They test and Tiger is advocating for testing so he must be clean.

Never said it was the best program. I'm in no position to know that. But they do test. And Tiger has never had a positive test. So I'm not sure what your point is, beyond the usual conspiracy theory insistence that because Tiger was good, he had to be on something.

Damn just saw Lanto Griffin say on camera “99.9% of the players wouldn’t have done it the way Reed did.” Just wow.

Lanto's a straight shooter who had to make his way to the PGA Tour through Latinoamerica and two trips to the Korn Ferry Tour. He's the sort of guy who would take umbrage to a guy like Reed, who deserves zero benefit of the doubt.

I guess I was going back and forth with a lot of sports on Saturday and didn't realize the particulars until listening to some podcasts on the subject. The entire thing is avoided if he immediately calls over a rules official to see if the ball was embedded. They played preferred lies for two days and he knew the ground was saturated. I can see where people would think something fishy was up. The rules are very specific on when you can and cannot lift your ball, and more often than not, it behooves you to do it with someone else in your presence. Did Reed stick his fingers in the pitch mark to make it a little deeper, thus creating the illusion of an embedded situation? We'll never know. But he's a known, caught cheater who deserves no benefit in that situation.

Didn’t he also say what Reed did “pisses us off”?

Of all of the bad takes I’ve seen on Reed, my personal favorite might be “he’s good for the game because he plays the villain.” That’s like saying the 1989 Pistons were good for the NBA. They weren’t, and he isn’t. This chubby red ass with the weird wife isn’t drawing any new eyes to the game, just giving the ones already here someone to root against — and boy, do I.

They didn’t need your approval to be one of the 10 best teams in NBA history

You’re right, you thought there was no usage because of it and that Tiger had to be clean because he was all for more testing. Then I posted links to what a joke drug testing was.
