Running 2021 Golf Thread

Homa's shot into 18 was so good, it was a shame he missed to win in regulation. Hated for Finau, but Homa scrambling from under the tree at 10 and then being aggressive at 14 was worth the redemption. Lots of pucker factor when Riviera is playing that tough.

 

Starting to think Tony Finau has Rickie Fowler Disease.

 

Track? What kind of cars, horses or dogs are they racing there?

 

At least Rickie would sneak in a Players, the Honda, Scottsdale and one of the playoff events. He's won five. Finau has a victory at Puerto Rico, which was opposite a world golf championship and didn't, of itself, get him in the Masters. And that's it.

 

That shot at 10 in the playoff was fantastic. Homa earned it.

 

You never know; they said for the longest time that Watson was a choker, same with Vijay, then they found it. I think Finau will find it, he shot the lowest round of the tournament on Sunday to get into the playoff, its not like he folded. He had a great chance on 10 in the playoff but that was not a straight in putt (and Homa with a great escape; btw how great is 10 as a hole?).

 

Oh boy.
