Every player for ASU in the first half could not miss.

Also, Nevada bigs look like student rec players from BYU.

Texas Southern might have been the worst NCAA team I have ever seen.

Looked very much like a team that tied the record for pre-tournament losses.
And then Nevada showed up and looked like it just got off the plane after an unscheduled layover in Jakarta.

Man, you love the outliers, don't you? If my math is correct, there were 149 teams to enter their conference tourneys with a losing record. One made it to the NCAA Tournament. ONE! Good for them and it's a neat story but the occasional team getting hot at the right time and salvaging their season in the conference tournament does not make for a sustainable formula. It'd be like betting on Tyler Herro to get a triple-double because he has one in 232 games. (I have not done that. A lot, anyway)

Might be easier at this point to just name the Alabama players who weren't at the shooting.

And they were legitimately better than Grambling State in that conference final game.

It is always weird to me when I see Steve Alford on the sidelines at Nevada. He may as well have gone into the witness protection program.
