Not good when you have Charleston v. Arizona in the Elite 8.

But the rest of the bracket is buzzing!

A high-end Big East team that can’t defend feels like sacrilege to me and my Gen X tribe.

I meant in terms of filling out brackets. It's an interesting trend in how it's so quickly gone from almost automatic to now being at least a semi-regular occurrence. Used to be you just filled in the 1 and 2 seeds without even thinking about it, but it's getting to the point where you need to look at it a bit.
I wonder if the play-in game is having an effect on this? Like if it's shuffled up those 15 and 16 seeds somehow, maybe by basically eliminating two of the traditional 16-seed teams, and puts a slightly better class of team in the 15 spot?

That’s very likely it. In a 64-team field, the four play-in teams would have been 16s and Howard and NKU would have jumped to the 15 line. Which means a couple of old-style 14s are now down a seed.

Stolen from Reddit: “You can take the Sean Miller out of Arizona but not the Arizona out of Sean Miller.”

This is the down side of upset picking. Defeat is forever.
For TV, I know they love upsets in the moment, but there can be too many of them.

I've got to go pick up my daughter at school so I'm posting this now and if it ends up biting me in the ass it'll be the funniest thing ever and you can let me have it forever.
