Meanwhile, they're mourning in the streets of Bristol.

Good for his bank account to get out of the Golf Industrial Complex.

Feeling good about FAU. Typical high-turnover first half and they’re up 4. Settling for too many threes and they didn’t blow a home in K-State’s foul trouble early. Encouraged.

That’s totally true. It’s a weird place for a college student. That being said, my daughter clears about $44/hour waiting tables downtown there and she goes surfing on the weekends before work. Not a bad life.

If you were trying to sabotage women’s basketball, you’d be hard pressed to do more than have a chalk Sweet 16 regional of Va Tech, UConn, Ohio State and Tennessee shipped to Seattle.

First time they've missed the Elite 8 since 2005, as well.
Geno sucks, but you've got to give credit where it's due. That is a remarkable streak.

    Absolutely mind-boggling streak.

The injuries finally caught up with them. And actually having to go cross-country for a regional.

FAU is interesting. They're an underdog (outside Power 5) regional finalist with ≥ 30 regular-season wins.
UMass, UNLV, Gonzaga, Memphis are the only other to ft that description in the ≥ 64-team era.

I'm a small school guy. I've seen worse than FAU getting left out.

If there was an ounce of fairness they'd have gotten in as an at-large, yes. They deserved to be in.

Agreed. Where I have a problem is the WWL's deification of UConn = CBS/WWL deification of Duke. Nice to see some new faces in there.
