I think Bama is getting Calipari fired today.

Does CBS have the first choice in basketball as it does in football?
Alabama-Kentucky is on ESPN, and the SEC Network has Arkansas-Auburn.

Don't know about fired -- the buyout is somewhere around $45,000,000 -- but I do wonder about the speculation in The Athletic -- perhaps suggested by Cal's agent -- about Texas.

My understanding is they would, or at the very least the No. 2 pick on a given day. Certainly they have priority on anything on SEC Network.

There used to be a rule for football they had to show each school at least once every 4-5 years. I wonder if basketball has something like that and they decided to get all the perceived weak sisters out of the way in a single block.

I worry about UK or Texas coming after Oats. The administration has started crawfishing on the proposed (and badly needed) new arena, citing inflation costs. People here are going to be pissed if they let him get away to another college job.

Oats was a high school coach in Romulus, home of Detroit Metro Airport, before he went to Buffalo
I would think B1G schools would look at him

    Kentucky is an interesting outfit.
Entering today, it was 16th in KenPom, 36th in the NET and 69th in RPI.
    Now 0-4 vs. Quad 1.

Duke escapes in Chestnut Hill in a game that took so long to wrap up that even Dean Smith was urging them to hurry up.

The Mizzou game was a helluva lot more entertaining than his Michigan clankfest.

I don’t get Kentucky. How a team with that much talent continues to poop their pants in big games.

It’s not like there’s good defense in East Lansing
    Horrible shooting for both teams
