If only this guy had a jump shot:

Seriously. The Tide's lottery pick provided the gun used in a murder. Read the statute referenced in the above link and explain to me how providing a gun used almost immediately thereafter to kill somebody isn't an example of serving as an accomplice.
Perhaps even more remarkable is how flippant Oats has been about this matter. It's one thing to do nothing in the discipline department or to clam up and refuse to comment. But to come out and essentially say, "There's nothing to see here" is next-level arrogance.

Charges, if they ever happen — and I’m damn doubtful — will come after April 3.

I don’t know the penalties, but that shit should include some serious prison time. Like, way more than @maumann.

Saw this over the weekend. Calipari is going to act like a human being and make me like him for about five minutes.

OK, I'll say it: Sparty has milked just about enough mileage out of the shootings. Play basketball.

None of the deceased victims or the injured victims recovering in the hospital, from anything I have seen, had anything whatsoever to do with the sports teams. At this point the sports teams are simply freeloading on the sympathy bandwagon. All the horn honking gasbags on radio and teevee are acting like Izzo had his own kids killed in the attack.

Let them keep milking it. If the milking efforts also bring awareness to the preposterously easy access Americans have to guns, it's worthwhile. Or at least it's not a bad thing.

Yeah, I know. It just bugs me how mediocre P5 teams - especially those with a name, specifically like UNC this season - are given nine ways to Sunday when it comes to playing their way out of the tournament and a 27-5 team from the OVC or someplace who gets ghosted by every P5 team come scheduling time doesn't even get a mulligan come March.

I interviewed Billy Packer once and asked him why a 27-5 team from a small conference should get screwed because they lost their tournament
I wondered why a smaller conference wouldn’t give the automatic bid to the regular season champion and he was adamant you couldn’t take that away from the tournaments
