St. Louis won its first three, then lost a franchise-record eight straight. Since, STL has won four consecutive including roadies at Vegas, Colorado and Chicago on a Mom’s trip.
Anyone think New Jersey’s success is sustainable? IIRC, the Devils host Toronto tonight.

I gave up on Caps-Blues when it was 3-0 St. Louis and was pleasantly surprised to see the boys battle back and at least steal a point.

Greiss had a heck of a night for STL. 47 saves IIRC.

New Jersey has won 13 games in a row. Devils are certainly the surprise of the season to date.
St. Louis has won seven consecutive games after losing eight straight. Read somewhere that is some sort of NHL record.

In 19 games, the Ducks haven't won in regulation -- in fact, they haven't had a lead in the third period this season (they have 3 OT and 2 SHO wins). Record is 20. They play NYR at home tomorrow. Then Ottawa in a Black Friday noon game. The record could fall.

Don’t take the Sens lightly. They are a shitshow right now.

The Ducks shouldn't take ANY team lightly. Just about every team coming to Honda Center had played the Kings the night before. The Ducks have been facing backup goalies nearly every game for 2-1/2 seasons. And yet, their pursuit of the top draft pick continues.
