I would guess the tour would start with 128 if the LIVers win. Not unlike how the Scottish Open bumped its field up to let in some LIVers.

Imagine having the unlimited opportunities to earn a paycheck that John Daly Has in his life -- all the way down to Eli Callaway offering to pay off his gambling debts upon staying sober -- and pissing them all away, then thinking you "deserve" one more.

I'll take the contra here and say that Daly - with his 2 majors, his 19 wins and his closet full of Zubaz - is perfect for a circus like LIV.

Oh he’s totally perfect. Even better, he’s a microcosm of what Middle Easterners think all Americans are: fat assed, puffing on heaters and chugging cokes in “Murrica Fuck Yeah” pants*.

But for him to say he “deserves” it is asinine.

    * - Picked up a pair of the loudmouth shorts on super duper clearance at the PGA superstore in Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are.

Myrtle Beach has two PGA Superstores! I'm a fan of the area, heading back next month for a few very sweaty rounds.

If you can't catch a nap during the Nantz/Immelman call of next year's Wyndham, find a sleep therapist.

    Gotta be something more.

He's 11th in FedEx Cup points.

    Calendar year, he's

    T6
    2
    T26
    T38
    T26
    T5
    T6
    T4
    Cut
    2
    Cut
    T5
    T2
    Cut
    T28
    T20

He's T15 this week. Yes, pretty lucrative bag without a win. And he whacks Ryan after the second round? Even Tiger didn't get rid of Fluff after the second round at Riviera. Again, gotta be something more.
