Rory defeating the best player in the world to claim the Championship and score an amazing win for the anti-bonesaw tour contingent is my favorite win since the Braves took the WS.
I love it when sports is downright poetic.

Only seven months until Rory doesn't win another Masters.

Wildly cheering a guy winning an obscene amount of money, shortly after he criticized guys winning obscene amounts of money.

Monahan should have handed Rory the keys to his office along with the FedEx Cup.

Maybe he should have dismembered a dissident journalist on the 18th green to get a better offer from LIV?

Some reporter news (which you don't say often in golf), Dan Rapaport leaving Golf Digest for Barstool.

I unfollowed him on Twitter because I found he was too fanboy, like many of the newer guys in golf. This is likely a better fit for him.

Some of the sponsors, such as John Deere, are happy and seem to get value for the fields they've been getting, or they wouldn't be doing. RSM has been the title sponsor at Sea Island in the fall for 13 years, and the best players they get year-in and year-out are Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Webb Simpson, Jason Day (who's not doing much these days) and Stewart Cink. Also, the Sea Island residents such as Kuchar (who is now living in Charleston), Zach Johnson, Haris English, etc. The title sponsors in Sea Island, Silvis, Ill., Honolulu and Hilton Head have been with those tournaments a long time. If the relationship wasn't working for them, they'd have yanked it.
