Pretty interesting podcast here from Golf Digest on the rise and fall of the golf infomercial. A couple of years back I was at a Salvation Army thrift store and in their barrel of used clubs was The Hammer for $1.75. I bought it, took it to the driving range and yelled “boom baby!” After every single one of my 177 yard drives.

Also, I recently watched a Bobby Jones instructional video from the Thirties. The camera was set up about 100 yards, elevated, facing the tee box. With a four wood in sequence Jones zips his first shot a few feet left of the camera, then a few feet right, then right at it, breaking a glass shield protecting the lens.
