If I still wrote sports, I'd burn Mickelson to the ground.

He's 100 percent right here. Makes one wonder if LIV officials are already getting tired of the "mean" questions.

I want to see Eldrick's point, but ...

That doesn't begin to explain his willingness to take the appearance fees in Dubai for a number of years. Might have played another tournament in the Middle East for a six- or seven-figure guarantee.

I think Woods is trying to make sure he doesn't lose in the court of public opinion. He's never had a problem with taking appearance fees or Uncle Phil's cash, but I suspect the PGA Tour's willingness to draw a line in the sand – right, wrong or otherwise – is playing into this.

Hell, didn’t he build them a golf course?

Isn't there a bit of a difference between your run-of-the-mill, Middle Eastern oil-funded despot and MBS?

Why? Because he said some dumb things? Who hasn’t done that? Sitting out the Masters and the PGA was a little weak but for all we know was a hushed up punishment. And I’m not going to criticize anybody who takes $200 million to play in a golf tournament. The PGA Tour (happy, everyone!) owes Phil a lot more than Phil owes the Tour.

The Phil crap did more to publicize the LIV Tour than Arab blood money could have done on its own.
