USGA is running an “open” championship which means it doesn’t matter what organization you’re affiliated with. PGA Tour or NCAA or high school, you qualify you’re in. Brenna.n is totally off base.

If the LIV guys resign, then the PGA Tour doesn’t have to do anything; they’re gone.

Wasn't Brennan the one who said during the whole Martha Burk/Hootie Johnson dust up that they could always hold the Masters at another course?

I really don't understand the trashing of the LIV tour by the golf commentariat. It isn't like Pro golf has been steadfast in its commitment to human rights and other social issues, given the questionable behavior of various countries that have hosted events (Sun City anyone?, China?) and while I do find it fascinating to see the Tour put pressure on sponsors of both tourneys and players to hold the line - it isn't like these are people committed to social justice or paying living wages if they can avoid it, let alone having a commitment to the environment or non-violence.

Maybe I missed it, but what is the TV/media deal for the LIV tour?

I do. If you can legitimately give moral criticism and please the PGA Tour at the same time, well, seems like a layup. Even if the rest of what you wrote is accurate.
