Do they get this money up front?

I’d never trust the Saudis are going to pay if this thing goes belly up like the USFL.

Really wish the LIV would hire Ken Tackett as a Rules official just to antagonize Bryson.

It's very noticeable how Calloway erased Phil from its TV ads. Bryson has a lot of ads. Wonder what will happen to him?

I love this new tour. It’s taking away all of the fuckers I hated anyways.

Who's got the LIV TV deal? The Evil Empire? Supersport of South Africa?

It's going to be on YouTube and live streamed on Facebook, so it seems. LOL.

I actually have a meh attitude toward all of the political posturing regarding LIV. If you really care that much, then I suspect you won't watch the World Cup in Qatar, or any event held in China. Or F1 when it's in Saudi Arabia or Abu Dhabi. F1 is in Baku this week, and Azerbaijan is a pretty fucked up country politically. If that's how you choose to go about it, that's fine, it's your decision and I respect it. But I'll still be watching the World Cup. And I still watch F1 when they race in Jeddah.

As for the golf? I could give two fucks about pretty much everyone who has decided to jump ship. I don't watch much week-to-week PGA Tour as it is (unless I'm day drinking and just need something to pass the time at the bar), and I certainly don't watch to see certain players. Much less a washed up Mickelson, or Kevin Na, or fucking P, or Bryson. Or Rickie who hasn't mattered for five years now. Dustin Johnson is a very good player but not particularly interesting to watch.

They all grabbed the blood money, and they have to live with that. But they'll be easily replaced by younger, hungrier players. The developmental tours are deeper than ever. Shit, Scheffler is three years removed from the KFT. Life will go on.

LIV seems to me like its the Champions Tour for the middle-aged. 40 is the new 50.

It's funny you say that. There's been a groundswell at the amateur level to create more events for the 40-50 set, because the 40 year olds say they can't compete with the fresh 25-year-old mid-ams. There are a bunch of players in our events who sort of disappear between 46-49 and then just crush the senior tournaments when they turn 50. (USGA senior age is 55, but we lowered ours to 50 a few years back.) It's why we created a "mid-senior" division for 60-64 because the 60 year olds couldn't compete with the 50 year olds and needed something to play in while waiting to turn super senior age (65). And now we have age divisions in the super senior, 65+, 70+, 75+. Some associations (Florida is one) has a legends division for players over 80.

Nothing about this is good for professional golf.

Don't quite know how you can say that when DJ and DeChambeau are switching.

The uniforms should be all black hats.

Not real sure how much longer the PGA Tour can stay quiet.
