Of course pudgy white dudes at the course are gonna high five Phil coming up the fairway. But The TV ratings were a fraction of Tiger’s, and Tiger’s final round was pushed to morning because of an impending thunderstorm.

Tiger Woods delivers Masters ratings win for CBS, blunted by early start

Hope you're going to walk the course with a caddy; just played Spanish Bay with a caddy (only had to carry my stogie) and it was fantastic. I played PB in July and they only had one forecaddie available, so we all walked with a pull cart which was still great, but not as good as the caddy carrying for you.

PB was pretty awesome, hope you enjoy!

For the other hackers here, 11 buddies and me have reservations for 3 nights/days at Pinehurst for Oct. and I'm open to any recommendations for other courses (other than #2 which we are playing) and food at the resort.

So eight of the 18 are great. I mean, you can't have every hole along the coast. The inward nine, sure, not the greatest. But can you say the same of, say, Augusta? There's some so-so in there as well.

Spent the weekend at the 2019 U.S. Open with my brothers and my dad at Pebble and ..... it was awesome. Dad was pre-double hip replacement so his mobility was shot. He parked it at the 3 green, then moved over to the 16 green. My brothers and I hiked it out it out to 6, 7, 8 and 9. Unreal scenery.

I played #2 years ago. At the time the domed greens broke counter-intuitively. It took three holes until we decided to listen to the caddies.

Practice rounds are great. Players are relaxed, you can generally get closer, fewer people on the grounds.

Mid Pines, Pine Needles and Dormie if you can get on.

I forget the name of the place, but there is a breakfast place at the track that people rave about.

Pinecrest for dinner is an institution.

Cracker Barrel is as good as a really good Knights of Columbus Friday catfish dinner during Lent.

The breakfast buffet at the Carolina is a fine and civilized way to start your day. There's a craft brewery in town that's quite popular; I seem to remember it was pretty good.

It's actually called Pinehurst Track Restaurant. Got big-boy breakfast there several years back when I was there for Rules school. Also, eating a giant breakfast before sitting through three hours of rules instruction, not the best idea. But that breakfast slapped.
