Mike Aresco’s final prominent public appearance is probably going to involve handing the tournament MVP trophy to a guy who got kicked out of the quarterfinals for swinging at a guy.

 

Wisconsin and Illinois are playing a pretty hellacious, if irrelevant, B1G title game.

Yax is such a good kid. We hope to get him back, but his play and his numbers mean that he's going to be offered NIL money we can't begin to touch. If an affluent school wants to give him six figures, I can't blame him if he goes. He's rewritten the record book, and he wasn't even starting early in the season.

14 pts, 16 rb, 4 assists, a steal and a block. 18th double double this season. This season Yax has broken the UAB single season rebounding record (in like 6-7 games less than Trey Jemison set it), broke the UAB double double record, and broke the AAC single season rebounding record.

Andy Kennedy noticed that most teams further up the food chain were concentrating on portal recruiting and that JUCO recruiting wasn't being worked hard. Three starters are JUCO transfers.

 

One region revealed and already seeding is like wtf?

 

JMU-Wisconsin is one of those matchups that makes the drek worth it.

 

They'll make 'em a 15-seed.
