NCAA to mid-majors: "Your (RPI/NET) wasn't high enough!"

ISU: "Our NET was #29!!!!"

NCAA to ISU: "Well, you had a bad loss to Illinois State."

ISU to NCAA: "Northwestern lost to Chicago State!"

NCAA to ISU: "Well, fuck you anyway."

Colorado takes third place in the Pac-12, advances to the conference tournament championship game, finishes 8-1 in its last 9, goes 24-10 and gets rewarded with a play-in game?

Against another western team, of course.

Actually kind of surprised SDSU didn't slide down to a 6 after yesterday's loss, but I guess they did well in all those funny little ratings and had a strong conference to fall back on.

 

Said this to my VCU friends after the game…I don’t hate that Duquesne was the one who did it. Great story, cool program that hasn’t been there in forever. Also, VCU didn’t deserve to win. So there’s that.

Also I’m pro mid-major but Indiana State doesn’t have much of a gripe here. Look at the schedule. Part of the deal of being a mm is that you can’t lose to the shit dregs of your league, and the second ISU got ranked, they lost two Q4 games. Gross.
