It was actually 141.5 at the tip, after hanging at 142.5 all weekend according to Vegas Insider. Either way, anyone with the over needed an Easter miracle to pull it out and McCain seemed hellbent on trying to provide it. The free throws alone couldn't do the job. They needed those and another Duke basket, which it wasn't going to get without another possession. So a foul, followed by a cheap Duke basket at the buzzer was the only route.
I can't find any clips of those last 15-20 seconds. All of the ones I'm seeing pick up at the second free throw.
It wasn't like McCain was just giving a hard effort and playing to the end, either. He was in his guy's hip pocket and then followed the ball through at least, I think, two passes. Something was up with that.

Keatts is coach for life if they manage to win this whole thing, isn't he?

No. He never was in my book. Others in red calling themselves "fans" wanted him gone.

Yes, it was a joke from me. But if you know enough about the background ...

I have a bunch washed up and ready to go (then again, I wear them a lot, anyway. Now, might be wearing less Carolina Panthers and U.S. Soccer for a while ... might have to keep the Carolina Hurricanes in the rotation ... ).

He should be. But you, of all people, know the fan base ...

Good for the Boilers. I feel a certain kinship with them.

This is the question. It's not like a grass field that changes over time with use such as a soccer field in a youth tournament or a conference tourney in college. It's the same damned thing it was the day before. Obviously odd.
To my eye, the oddities are many. It's not just the two arcs are different from each other; they look unlike any other on any other women's college basketball court.

This is The Exorcist of posts: terrifying because it's highly plausible.

    #UPthreadjack!

The NCAA's court people are Connor Sports Flooring, in the tiny UP town of Amasa, Mich., population 257.

And that's why they're the NCAA!

What a freakin' joke and embarrassment.
