What's with the old dude in the Iowa polo shirt sitting behind Lobo and repeatedly grabbing his own chest on camera??

Thought process (sorry, this will be creepy and I don't mean it to be):

Hmmm, I wonder how many followers Gabbie Marshall has. Because, um, I bet it's a lot.

    Looks.

Thinks, oh, only about 150K IG followers.

    Thinks, oh, that's not much.

Realizes, oh shit, she's a nothing guard for Iowa women's basketball and HAS 150K IG FOLLOWERS OH MY GOD WHAT KIND OF FUCKING WORLD DO WE LIVE IN...

Remember Bueckers was more highly hyped than Clark before her series of injuries.

Literally what anyone with a microbe of basketball knowledge would do.

This camera-in-hallway-between-court-and-locker-room thing is almost creepy and voyeuristic.

Yeah let the girl with blood pouring out her nose run the length of the court so it drops everywhere

There's a world where, once in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark's passing becomes Jokic-esque. Those might be the most fun highlights.

Opposing team has a great player.

    1) Scout the hell out of her, learn her preferences for every inch of the court;

    2) Put your best and most athletic defender on her; get physical, rough her up, bump her a bit (but not too much if they're great FT shooter)

    3) Steer her to places she doesn't want to be on the court. Overplay to her weak hand.

    4) Allow her to take shots she probably shouldn't .

    5) identify her safety valve receiver -- the kid she throws it to if she's in trouble -- overplay the passing lanes, pick a couple of those off

    6) Make her work on defense. Run some offensive plays right at her, try to draw a couple ticktack fouls

    7) Hope nobody else on her team is hitting.

    See? No problem.

As I type all this Clark hits a fallaway 25 footer and now a bump and run jumper in the lane.

How do you tell? He’s literally had the best players for three decades. Belichick was a great coach. Until he wasn’t. What changed?

There hasn't been a good in-game interview since Sager last interviewed Pop.

Clark heating up a bit in the second half, but if Iowa pulls this out it will be because of Stuelke. She’s having a great game in the paint.
