Running 2023-24 NCAA Basketball Thread

ASU's players and head coach have combined for eight technical fouls in the last three games. This is nonsense. Time for the Pac-12 to suspend Hurley for about five games, if anyone really ran the league anymore.

 

That review in the Duke game was silly.

 

During today's game the announcers were talking about how Hurley had been stressing to his players to keep their mouths shut and not react to the refs.

Then in the first half the refs blew a pretty insignificant call -- should have been a foul, was called a jump ball. Hurley exploded, screaming at the refs out on the floor while his players held him back.

Pretty good coach but a complete jackass.

 

It was a bit excessive. Was wondering if they were awaiting additional feedback from James Naismith or something ...

Big win for Pitt, especially after having Duke run them over in the Pete.

 

Do as I say, not as I do, etc. ...

 

If Duke ever gets healthy...

 

This is still an ass basketball team and Capel is still a stiff, as Doug Moe would so eloquently say, but that was a fun win in a hard place to play. Kept waiting for a butthole puckering that never arrived and they hit free throws when they mattered.

 

Two teams that can’t lose enough are Duke (college basketball) and Green Bay (NFL).

A couple of good wins tonight!

 

Hurley and Nate Oats were back-to-back coaches at Buffalo. Has any school in the 21st century had bigger back-to-back asshole coaches?
