Line forms to the left. Last week eight of the top 10 caught a loss, including Houston losing twice. This week Kentucky, Auburn and Illinois fell before Thursday.

Wake me up in March. Though I was happy for the players and the fans in Corvallis - and to have Bill Walton on the call was nice, that program is stalled. They have Tinkle for two more years at least and every year, they'll have a player or two who is pretty good - then they bail out and transfer. And this was before NIL. The Elite Eight run was a fluke - but it got him an extension. The program is the definition of moribund.

Iowa State fans just rushed the floor after beating KU.
Iowa State is ranked 23. KU is 7.

After the Caitlin Clark incident, I would have thought a nationwide directive would have gone out to bring the shit-hammer down on storming the court.

Storming the court (or field) has already been dramatically decreased from the rowdy days of the mid-70s to 80s -- thunderous penalties and ironclad enforcement would shut it down pretty much completely.

Top 10 teams are winning 39 percent of their road games against unranked opponents this season, not counting Auburn’s loss today in Starkville.

How about putting a mesh fence around the court?
