Probably not the most accurate choice of words. Anyway, it was personal -- that's what I meant. He and the Italian were going at it for a few minutes before that, jawing at each other. Zidane was going after that guy for himself, he wasn't thinking anything about his team there. It was purely personal (or seemed that way).

Actually, it makes good sense that it is "Go West."

It does after looking at googleearth. The opening of the stadium is to the west.

So what they're saying is get the hell out of here now. And have a good night.

The butt is an indelible image.

It doesn't quite OJ Simpson him, but it hurts him badly.

If France was going to win, that would've got past Buffon.

As it was, no storybook ending, just a brief break from the scandal beat.

An awful time for his once-volatile temper to rear its ugly head again.

Looked like he and Materazzi were having a nice chat before the incident ... wonder what set him off like that.

I think he is one of those guys who says everything behind a thin grin.

Thunderdome overtime -- 22 men enter, one man leaves, his team advances.

1). I've never seen anyone headbutt anyone in the chest before. Usually, it's right on the forehead.
2). I've never seen anyone headbutted so hard that it knocked them off their feet.
3). For some reason, every time I see Barthez I think of the robot mime from Eurotrip.
