Fen, check the Argentine roster. There are definitely some second or third generation Krauts on there.

As to S&M... they lost to a team that is extremely good. The last three goals that Argentina scored occurred when S&M had only 10-men on the field.

For the past week, we've all been bombarded by the Jose +10 spots from adidas. Now that they're showing the game, instead of just the draft, I'm hooked on the song that plays in the background. I might hate the whole thing, but does anybody know what song that is?

Adrian Healey and Tommy Smyth doing the NED match. I know some on here don't like Tommy, but I enjoy the little curmudgeon.

As soon as Smyth references a "good tackle by Ruud Gullet" ... I'm switching to Univision.

Getting back to that first goal, when a direct kick looks like a PK, that's really something. Keeper guessed right and still couldn't get close to it.

"He bulges the ole onion bag."

I liked Tommy's line about the ref being able to mail the card to the player and it'd get there sooner than when he pulled it from his pocket.

That sucks. But that was one helluva shot. Beautiful drive on the move to his right.
