If the US matches Ghana energy and enthusiasm, they have a chance against Italy.

If you are the Czechs don't you just say no chance of getting the points, so we may as well pack the back and protect to our +1 goal differencial, giving them a slight lead over Ghana at the end of the day?

I'll play devil's advocate. T&T played the 2nd half down a man the entire second half. NOBODY has T&T advancing out of the group stage while Ghana has been given a shot.

    Ghana giving goals away now.

OK... more explanation needed: The announcer just said so-and-so will miss the next game because of yellow cards. I've seen them handed out like candy in this game. How many do you need to miss the next game?

Two yellow cards in one game equals a red card and a suspension for the next game.
A yellow card in back-to-back games equals a suspension for the next game.

And as for the US lineup, I'm absolutely shocked no Eddie Johnson. I'd throw him and Dempsey in for sure. At least Dempsey is playing.

And that was a helluva save by the Ghana keep.

two. they can be accumulated over two games.

example: Reyna got a yellow against the Czechs. If he gets one today against Azzurri, he has to sit out the Ghana game (but can finish today's game).

The Jose commercial, does the song go, "If I don't get my football back, I'm going to get my dad on you"?

Yes that was a helluva win and now it's all on the US to produce. And KP, what you just wrote made me spill my fruity pebbles all over myself.

Jesus, forget Group C. This group E is the group of death. USA are going to have to play like world beaters for two games if they have a prayer of advancing.

True Dat. I'm expecting them to lose 3-1 today.
