It's not nearly as much fun to watch a the Roddick-Ancic match at work as it was to watch Marat-Andy at home.

Roddick cruises in the first set.

  2. scary, ain't she?

Not nearly as scary as that vile, evil creature is.

I might be the only one watching Roddick-Ancic, now in the fifth set.

  5. really mentally tough for Roddick getting that break in the last set when he didn't even have a point on ancic's first two services games, and then just leaving no doubt at 5-4 and holding for the match with some great shotmaking

Not a chance. Sat through Serena, too.

I shoulda known you'd be watching that one too.

I caught the tail-end of Serena (deadlines suck!). She's moving really well for carring around that extra weight, and that's the fittest she's been in a while.

C'mon now. Funny how one comment from Hingis 8 years ago stuck. Hasn't anyone noticed that 200 tennis players have come along since Mauresmo whose shoulders are twice as wide? She's below average these days.

isn't catching the tailend of serena an all-day job?

Funny thing. She ain't fit at all. She's also sick as a dog, apparently.
And she played like a champ. Winners do that. They can smell when the opponent is ready to give it to them (just like Petrova did) and step it up.

Jankovic, one of my favorites, was done before the first point. Disappointing effort from her. She clearly isn't ready to take the next step yet. But she will be.

If Amelie's door swung toward them, I'm betting the boys wouldn't be making such comments.

Oh. My. God. I wish I had thought of that one.
