All these shots of Sharapova's dad annoy me!

Most tennis coverage is great, but the constant shots of coaches and parents gets old.

With Maria's dad, maybe they're waiting to catch him coaching again.

They caught him last night, I think. It still annoys me though.

At least he doesn't wear crooked glasses any more. Those things were terrible.

He was caught, and fined $2,000, I think. Though what he did wasn't near as bad as his coaching during the U.S. Open.

Sharapova will punish Williams. Williams might not win four games. I hope Sharapova rolls her.

Williams is a nice kid and good for the game, but she can't even get down for balls. That she's in that kind of shape, this far into the tournament, says something about the state of women's tennis, and about Williams.

Frankly, Williams knows she can get away with it, and she's always been like this. I appreciate her fight and good nature, but she's always coasted on her strength and reputation. To suggest Williams isn't at the top of her game requires you to pinpoint exactly what the top is. When hasn't she hit 40 unforced errors? When hasn't she thrown her body around in a way that guarantees injury, because she can't be bothered to put herself in the right place for shots?

For years, that was Agassi's story, too - a guy named Sampras kept him from winning seven majors like Serena has. Until this last run, when Agassi dropped all the way out, and came back playing his best tennis, considering his age. I'd like to see the light go on in Williams' head, too. She's gunning for an injury six months from now. At any rate, she can't show up like this in Paris. She'll be run in the first week.

All right, what time does the goddamn Roddick-Federer match start?

Also, will someone please tell the Yahoo! writer to please never refer to Roddick as 'A-Rod' again. Sorry, that one is taken by another American.

For your sake at least they didn't use a nickname from the dead ball era, that would have really heated you up.

So, if this match goes five games I will have to be up until about 5 a.m. CST? I'm going to guess that won't happen. But for now, I'm in.

He's been A-Rod in tennis circles for ages and ages. I prefer Rocket as Andy's nickname, given the speed of that serve.

No. I know he has been A-Rod forever in tennis circles, but he isn't allowed to A-Rod now. Sorry, but there is someone more successful and more wealthy that plays for the biggest sports team ever, so that needs to end. That is all.
As far as Rocket, that is OK, but if a "The" is put in front of it, then it is not OK, because that belongs to another mildly famous baseball player we know. (P.S. Too many commas, I know, but don't care).

    Andy's won a major. When was the last time baseball's A-Rod won a major? . . . Oh that's right, he hasn't.

Since there are four majors in a year I don't even know how to compare that to baseball.
The real ARod has won an MVP title, led his league in home runs and is playing for the most well-known team in sports, not just in America, but the world. So, I'd just say that the real ARod has him beat, no World Series title nonwithstanding (hopefully not a double negative).
