Running Aussie Open Thread...

Mary is the best color person in sports. The two of them were outstanding last night during Federer's win.

 

The finals have traditionally been afternoon matches in Australia.

9:30 p.m. Friday in America.
10 p.m. Saturday in America.

They moved the men to a night match in Australia just a year or so ago

 

I wish Carillo called more than just tennis. She's wonderful.

 

Yeah they were because it's got to be hard to come up with new ways of saying that Roddick is getting the shit kicked out of him, but they hung in there.

 

Federer comes to my neck of the woods in two months.

I'm going to enjoy and appreciate this genius for all it's worth.

Too bad he'll never play anywhere but stadium, though. Nothing beats a front-row seat on the grandstand seeing someone you really want to see.

 

According the sked on his website, he'll only play four tournaments in the U.S. this year. Dammit.
