Holy Crap Gonzalez is playing so well. I don't think he can seriously challenge Federer in the final, but he's putting on a heck of a show right now.

 

She has branched out. She's a regular contributor to "Real Sports", does good work there.
And if I'm not mistaken (I tend to watch the superior Canadian Olympic coverage, which is both live and on two national networks), she also was at the Olympics for CBS. I'm thinking skiing, but there may have been others.

 

Gonzo has looked amazing in his past three matches, beating the shit out of several very good players. But they were three players who never appeared to try a Plan B against him.

Should be a great final.

Wow. I thought Maria might take a big lead early, but I didn't see it coming from Serena, who has started slowly in most of her matches.

 

Serena is kicking Maria's ass. I did not see this one coming.

Serena is just on another level right now. Makes you wonder just what the last couple years could have been like had she been healthy -- or, as some may debate, focused.

This is the most lopsided Grand Slam final I've ever seen. Shame it's not on Over-the-Air because most Americans are missing a treat.

 

And it may only be the most lopsided GS final for another day or so.

 

Men's championship actually was yesterday. Federer is just playing an exhibition match before receiving the trophy.
