Alex Gordon just hit the ultimate garbage home run - a two-run shot in the top of the 10th of a 3-3 game.

If only he could produce when it counts.

According to Yahoo!, Vlad just doubled to first base. How does that happen? And what happened to King Felix? He was perfect through three and has allowed three consecutive hits to open the fourth.

Thanks Cleveland bullpen. The Yankees are now just 2 games out of the Wild Card.

Felix and Ben Broussard colided trying to field an infield chopper from Vlad. Vlad took second and a run scored on the play while both where down. All of Seattle collectively had a heart attack, but he looks fine. Ichiro gunned down Vlad at the plate to end the inning after another run got across.

Edit: And neither Weaver brother is having a great time this series as both Jeff and Jered have gotten pounded pretty well.

And they scored it a double?

With a 1-1 count on Mike Fontenot in the eighth inning, Piniella pinch hit for him after Soriano had stolen second. Ryan Theriot took over the at-bat and drew a walk.

Per the discussion of the Cubs' center-field spot. I'll take Jones defensively over Pagan any day. I know he lost a ball last night, but he just made a heck of a catch. Pagan isn't aggressive enough defensively-

Yep. It couldn't have really been scored an error. Broussard had it in his glove but then it skittered away when he collided with Hernendez.

Go ahead and look for Ichiro's throw on the highlights tonight. His throw to get Vlad (who was on third) was an absolute laser.

    Ryan Howard continues to impress.
