What really sucks is I'm watching this to see A-Rod hit No. 500 and it's going to be Hawk that I have to hear call it.

The White Sox can't blow an 8-0 lead, can they? [/Budcrew08 late to the thread]

Going out on a limb as thick as a cypress when I say yes... yes they can.

I just want to make sure that no one here is soiling themselves after the Sox jumped out to an 8-0 lead.

Don't you all get it? It's pointless to cheer against the Yankees. They're too deep offensively. They're gonna score 10 runs against Chicago's crappy pitching.

They are a base runner away from send the tying run to the plate.

They are close to blowing the whole lead in this inning!

If Abreu gets on, A-Rod is the tying run

To be fair, it doesn't take the Yankees lineup to score 10 on the Shite Sox.

This could be 1978 all over again.

Every Sox loss brings KC that much closer to fourth place. Such is my dilemma here.

At this rate, this game may still be on when I get home from work tonight!

But...but...the White Sox scored eight runs on Rogers Clemens! They can't lose.

    Give me a fucking break.
