I am liking the Jose Molina era a lot more than the Wil Nieves era.

 

Pretty quality pitcher's dual going on in Florida. Willis has a shutout through 6 and Oswalt has only allowed 1 run.

 

Some 20-something in a Cards jersey at the Nats-Cards game in DC put on a real "look at me" display when he came up with a bat that Ryan Church let fly out of his hands during an at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning.

No problem, right?

Well, the little kid right in front of him's bleeding from the forehead because he took the bat upside his skull on the fly.

If the Cards fan has any class, he lets the kid have the bat, and then buys the kid's mom a beer for helping him hang in there.

Just realized Sabathia vs. Santana is happening right now. There could be a lot of strikeouts recorded in this game.
