But he hit .180 something in July, so I don't think walking him is the best thing strategy wise at this point.
And you are in some sort of minority Pete, because when the Dodgers intentionally walked him earlier this week and the Chavez Ravine crowd booed.

Burrell launched one into the seats. But that was it. Gallardo is a solid pitcher. He's going to be good for many years to come. 1-0 to the Brew Crew. There are 2 more.

So THAT'S how that happened. Between the two or three dog-ass hits that they got in that 8-run inning yesterday, and the rare two-bagger off the pitcher's foot, fortune is seemingly smiling upon the Yanks.

That would be right in theory, but they lost yesterday. So, I don't know how lucky that is.

But he's still the most dangerous and most powerful player in the league to be hitting .180.

Am I missing something? Does Ryan Braun not play for the Brewers?

Maybe it is like the Mark McLemore conundrum from yesterday.

That play itself was really lucky. Saw that at a sports bar tonight, couldn't believe the bad luck there.

    Yeah, it probably was.
I thought you were going to the games this weekend? Do you get to see Hughest tomorrow?

The Red Sox lost at Seattle for the ninth or 10th consecutive time. Good stuff.

Yep, I am. I thought I would see Gil Meche in about 12 hours, but as it turns out, because they canceled Thursday's game in Minny (I-35 bridge collapse), I get to see Kyle Davies make his Royals debut.

In other words, I just might see A-Rod hit No. 500.
