Tim Hudson is having a solid night.
5 1/3 innings, 0 runs on 4 hits with 7 strikeouts.
He also has a two-run single on offense.

 

Starting to make the Braves look a little smarter for making that trade with Oakland.

 

Dammit, dammit, dammit. Why did I make that trade?

Oh well, I'm next-to-last in my fantasy league, so it doesn't really matter...

 

Yeah. Who the hell ever said that was a raw deal for Atlanta? It was a no-brainer to make.

 

I'm not sure which way Miller Park is pointed, but I think Prince Fielder just fucking hit one to Canada. Or maybe Mexico. Not sure which.

I'm suffering through Bonderman's performance for the Tigers and missed it. Is this one that will be uploaded to MLB.com's highlights?

 

Oh yeah. Two-run bomb in the bottom of the eighth of a one-run game. Distance wasn't actually the big deal, though. Damn thing was out in about a second and a half. I think it might have still been rising when it reached the seats.

One of those you get the fuck out of the way of, rather than try and catch.

 

I hope after tomorrow the Phucking Phils don't win another game the rest of the season. Fuck them and their useless fucking bullpen.

 

What is wrong with the Tigers? They're 2-8 in their last 10, Bonderman's been brutal in his last two starts.

I know they need their bullpen back healthy, but come on.

 

And now Corey Hart robs Tad Iguchi of a game-tying homer.

Yep, I've seen this episode before. About a thousand fucking times. But I'm not bitter or anything.

 

Cleveland is 3-7 in their last 10, too.

While you can blame the bullpen some, the starters need to go deeper in games too.


Bonderman went 7 tonight and really only had the one bad inning (the first), but on average, the starters are getting to the fifth or sixth innings with 100 pitches.
