They just showed Bud's reaction, and it wasn't quite enthusiastic. But it was entertaining.

It was almost like the moment it cleared the fence Bud stood up and said "Am I done here?"

Unfortunately, for him, he is not. I guarantee he's hoping Bonds gets it over with tonight, though. That way, he can bow out of this circus as soon as possible.

Way to earn that No. 71 on your back, Misch. The kid makes a good diving play off the mound, then spikes the throw to first for an E1.

He should have at least stood and clapped. The steroid era happened under his watch. Bud, you made your bed so go fuck yourself in it.

He did stand up. I don't think he's got to do anything but be there. So long as he doesn't give Bonds the finger from the luxury suite, Selig is doing things the right way -- as much as I hate to stick up for Allan.

    I couldn't agree more Angola.

He should have stood and at the very least offered the cordial golf clap.

After all, he created the monsters that are Big Mac, Sosa, Bonds and Giambi.

This is only the second time in MLB's 125+ year history that a player has reached the 755 career home runs plateau.
    Did you guys know that?

I can't remember for sure, but I am guessing he stood and clapped and cheered when McGwire hit 62 and 70.

I don't remember if he was on-hand for the 62nd, but I sincerely doubt he was there for No. 70.

For anyone who cares, Scott Hairston's home run streak ended at three at-bats, due to his third-inning single.

Yeah, your right. He probably wouldn't have been there for No. 70.
