It's a line from the movie. I'm pretty sure that's all he meant by it, but I could be wrong.

Similar to Major League's pussification: "Strike this ... guy out," and "Forget you, Jobu."

Sorry, Doc, nodding off here (Ya know, I'm old and it's 2:25 on the East Coast)

It should be a good one. History will be written for the second day in a row.

I've got a good feeling about it. Not that it really matters what I'm feeling. Sunday night on ESPN with presumably a much larger audience watching at an historic building. It might be up to the bullpen once again.

I think Charlie Manuel is gone in Philly after this season, and this would be one reason why. The Phillies are leading 5-4 with Cole Hamels at only 89 pitches. Charlie Manuel lifts him in the eighth for a pinch hitter. That hitter, Abraham Nunez, grounds into an inning-ending double play. Then the reliever for Hamels, the ancient and injured Tom "Flash" Gordon, gives up the homer to Prince Fielder.
I just thought it was a horrible move. I know there were runners on first and second with one out in the eighth, but at the very least, keep Hamels in and have him bunt them over for the top of the order. Just my thoughts.
