    I can live with that. Quick trip to the 15-day DL and he'll be back ... hopefully. In the meantime, fucking call up Pie already!

    I'd like to amend my previous statement.

    If it's a hammy, Soriano should miss some time, but he would play again this season. If it's the quad, that's a season-ender.

    There wasn't a tipoff, either. Soriano was running with ease and then, between second and third, his leg gave out.

    Worst part is he shouldn't have been trying for third with two outs, regardless. Damn it.

    Quad strain does not equal end of season. Quad tear, yes.

    Hindsight's 20-20, I guess.

    Back to quad strains -- Mauer missed a month, and that was thought to be a long time, right? So maybe 3-4 weeks?
