Probably the last one to hit 300 for a while. Can't imagine Johnson coming back to get the 15 or so needed.

 

Whoa, Rick Peterson didn't have a jacket on and zipped up to the top.

 

I missed that. Was he wearing a jersey. Because, that's why he's always got the jacket on, he doesn't wear a jersey.

He needs 16 more. I can see him coming back, but I think he'll come up a bit short. Of course, he is an old lefty. They just don't die.

I'm pretty sure he was making eye contact at one point there in the ninth inning. Hard to tell, given that he was in Chicago and I was tuning in from Atlanta, but I'm pretty sure he was looking at me

 

I thought they were planning to do that a couple years ago. You know, the Wood-to-closer deal; I heard no plans of drowning Ohman -- at least not from Cubs brass.
