I could have sworn he mouthed "This one's for you, Phrack," too. But, maybe I was just seeing things.

It must have been a doozy in Chicago because I'll guarantee that doesn't happen often. When I lived in the Mets' viewing coverage area, I saw every game. And never once did I see him wear a jersey. Unless I looked it up, I couldn't tell you he wears No. 51.

Well, Tom Glavine is quite a guy.

Helluva week for me, baseball-wise. Last Sunday, I watched Ripken get inducted. This Sunday, I watched Glavine win No. 300. Doesn't get any better than that, it really doesn't. :)

All in all it was a pretty solid baseball week. HOF, ARod and Bonds finally homering, a 300-game winner and the Yankees moving within a 1/2 game of a playoff spot.

I did the same thing. It's like reliving my childhood, in a way. Like coming full circle for a baseball fan in the 90s.

Piniella just said Soriano will be out at least two weeks, maybe a month.

Don't be alarmed. The loud beeping noise you hear is just the Milwaukee Brewers backing into the NL Central title.

    I hate this fucking team.

  10. I know it's been said a couple of times, but I think it needs to be repeated: Fuck Will Ohman.

Yeah, because the Yankees getting closer to a playoff spot in the first week of August would register high on my list. It's definitely a bonus for you, though. Congrats on that, Angola.

I didn't see the game. What did fucking Will Ohman do to deserve so much derision?
