    If he has options left, it isn't an issue. He must - I can't imagine he would have cleared waivers the last time they sent him down.

    But he wouldn't have to clear waivers this year to be sent down. This is still one of his option years.


    In looking back at my previous post, I'll clarify. If Pie was out of options, he would need to clear waivers every time he was sent down.

    This Cardinals-Padres game is remarkable.

    the first 10 batters of the fifth have reached for the Cards, who have scored nine runs AND HAVE YET TO RECORD AN OUT.

    Oh wait, there's an out. But it was a sac fly. 10-3.

    I think next year I might pay to send you to Pirate's games. You seem to end up watching those types of innings a lot.
