Damn, he had a pitch to drive there and opened up too early. That guarantees it won't be in my paper tomorrow.

I'm all for that. If it continues much longer the Curse of BYH will be up there with the Babe and the Billy Goat.

I'm holding until the last minute in case he hits again before deadline, but I think that did it.

I'll give you that much. I think the Cubs will stick around for a while, but they'll fall just short of October baseball. And I was saying that well before Soriano left. This is just icing on the cake.

Honestly, Dimitri Young looks like he should be held in place with moorings. He looks like he's about to float away at any moment.

Just got home from my bar. The two times Barry got out, the whole bar started cheering. It was great.

Huh? I'm no physicist, but I'm pretty sure Dmitri Young's girth is a vital weight-bearing object that keeps the Earth on its axis with the sun. We should all be thankful for his presence here or we'd be half way to Tattooine by now.

It's so obvious I watch very few Nats games. I'm in total awe of this man. He is nothing short of enormous. It's almost amazing a man this size is a professional athlete of any sport outside sumo wrestling.

What about Colon and Sabathia? They're not exactly trim.

Interesting. When I was in Fort Worth last weekend, the whole bar booed when he was walked. I found that to be very strange, because the bar was full of high school football coaches. I was surprised they even cared about baseball.

I know, but I've seen them way more often than Young. I haven't seen Young in ages.
