The way foreigners view American sports, Part 782:

In a commercial break tease about the Phillies losing No.10,000 an English Sky Sports News anchorwoman said "Coming up, news on the worst side in the history of baseball."

Makes you proud to be English.....

Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight. Emil Brown is still A) still in the league and B) somehow is the number 5 hitter on that team. I'm absolutely stunned right now. Wow.

He was so bad for the Pirates, I can't imagine how he continued being signed. I guess the fact that he's on the Royals sort of makes sense, sorry Oz.

If Mark Cuban really wanted to buy a franchise, he would purchase the Royals. He could probably do the same thing he did with the Mavs.

I don't think the Royals are for sale. If you're going to talk about teams that are not for sale but desperately need an upgrade in ownership, Cuban should buy the Pirates. He's from Pittsburgh.

Of course the Bucs aren't for sale, either, which is a shame. If Cuban bought either the Royals or Pirates, I would drink up in celebration.

What's even more stunning is Kansas City is up 9-1 in the eighth.

Did the Yanks really just tie the game up on a balk?

Will Ohman gets Bonds out, then walks the backup catcher with the bases loaded. WTF?

WTF is going on with El Duque? He just stole another base.
