    Outstanding win for the Mets tonight over Jake Peavy.

    Great performance by ElDuque and real, live clutch hits from the moribund offense for a change!

    I just changed it. The Yankees have a real chance at the East, despite what most people on here say. If they can get a first baseman that can hit, though Andy Phillips has been hitting lately, before the trade deadline they will be in business.
    Shit, as bad as Mussina has been he will be the No. 4 starter and Hughes will be back in 2 weeks and he will surely be better than Igawa.
    Their pitching is going to hopefully be hitting its stride in the next couple weeks and as long as the offense isn't so up and down like it was in the first half, they can make a run at the division and definitely at the wild card.
