My great fear, however, is that the Yankes do have a legitimate shot at the wild card because I just don't trust Cleveland or Seattle and the Twinkies just aren't good enough this year.

Probably not. But I fear them making it in as a wild card team and then surprising everyone. I can see it.

It should also be pointed out that the Yanks schedule is set up for them that if they win against the non-contenders, they'll be in it since they play Cleveland 3 times (NY swept the first 3), Seattle 3 more times, Detroit 8 times and Boston 6 times.

Too many teams to overcome. Not going to happen.

The Yankees are pretty unlikely to win anything, but no one foresaw the Boston collapse last year either. If it happens again, they're in. Anything close, and we have interesting baseball in the last couple of months.

They've got two more with Toronto this week, then play Tampa(4), KC(4), Baltimore(4), CHISOX (3) & KC(3). 20 straight games against losing teams.

Help!! BYH, spnited, anybody, please convince me the Yankees can't do this. It's getting too close and, all of a sudden, I don't trust the Red Sox. My anxiety about a Yankees division title is giving me hives. Somebody please help.

It's destiny. They are going to come back, win the division, the pennant and the Series.

    Too many teams to overcome?

    Cleveland 55-38 --
    Seattle 52-39 2
    Minnesota 49-44 6
    YANKEES 47-44 7

I don't think so BYH. I'm beginning to get concerned

    They. Are. Done.

OK. It's over. It's been over. It remains over.

Who cares about the Yankees? The Cubs are running down the Brewers.

    Sheets is out 4-6 weeks.

Really, though, I care about the Yankees inasmuch as I desperately hope they don't make the playoffs. But I'm starting to sweat.
