Apparently he was pinch-ran for after grounding into a fielder's choice in the bottom of the fourth.

Actually, Gordon has two garbage RBIs tonight. Worthless in a one-run game.

Andy Phillips with a RBI single.

    Not good.

Yankees were the sleeping giant. Now, they're awake and pissed.

And, the Red Sox lose again. The Royals roll into Fenway and take two-of-three. If the Yankees game holds up, the Sox are just 6 up in the loss column.

But ... can the Yankees succeed in Kansas City next week??

The Royals started the Saux slide last year with a sweep in KC. Will this be the start of another Sawx slide?

The Yankees do struggle with the Royals, so who knows. For now I will just enjoy the moment and enjoy listening to Red Sox fans talk like they have already given up the division as well as a playoff spot.

If MLB decides you are in the Rangers "market", then yes, all games will be blacked out, regardless of if the game is available to you on local TV. A friend of mine was at law school at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa. Huge baseball fan. I told him mlb.tv was outstanding, esp. b/c I could watch games in the library or during class (not that I'd, um, do that or anything). I live in a one-team blackout area where probably 150 of the team's games are on local TV, so I really miss nothing unless I want to watch the local team while I'm at school. He bought the mlb.tv package. Turns out that, living in Iowa, he has SIX different teams blacked out. Twins, Brewers, Cubs, Sox, Royals, Cards. And that's living in a state that doesn't even have a baseball team.

And there it is. Thank you, Mr. Wright and your three-run homer.
