Is that Old Man Franco? (Can't see pics.) Yeah, he's a stiff. But better than Gas Can Sele. Go Dodgers!

It is a picture of the Crypt Keeper. But yeah, it's Franco. He did have a two RBI single today.

And I'm sure he can build on his .200 average he took from New York. Franco was as close to a guaranteed out as I've ever seen in a Mets uniform.

Glavine had absolutely nothing. Thank God Willie didn't try to keep him long enough to get win No. 299. I love Glavine, but at this rate he's gonna get #300 around Labor Day.

At least Howard drew 3 walks on full counts. Better than 3 Ks.

Delgado and Castro just hit back-to-back bombs to San Francisco. 12-7, Mets.

I love the way Lo Duca plays, but Castro is excellent. He's up there with Mike Redmond for the best back-up catcher in baseball.

I provide the guy on the left as a rebuttal, Mr. counselor...

And who would he suggest was? Certainly not himself. Maybe Jeff McKnight?

Boof Bonser will be a trivia question for years to come, as a throw-in in one of baseball's most uneven trades.

Beltran just hit one to Sacramento.
