I enjoyed watching Jon Lester's comeback start tonight, even though I'm not a Red Sox fan - I can appreciate what he came back from, and his first couple of rehab starts were 20 miles from my house.
That said, I also enjoyed the numerous shots of his parents - at least until the woman with wondrous cleavage left her seat behind them. It was one of the few times I was glad for ESPN overkill.

Bottom line ... Balfour = STUD. He is a global icon in my world.

I like you Hammer Pants, but I'm going to enjoy it when karma bites you squarely in the ass. :D

Chris Bosio? Cal Eldred? Did the Brewers have any other pitchers?

You just tell the Baby Brewers that the Cubs are coming, and that hell is coming with them. Have a happy Grant Balfour Is Awesome No Matter What Country He Came From Day!

Sweet, the Yankees won again. Still 7 1/2 out of the division, but within 5 1/2 of the Wild Card.
Oh, and that ARod guy drove in his 100th run of the season tonight. Not too shabby.

How long before ESPN starts beating us over the head with stories about the Yankees' epic comeback that culminated with Bucky Freakin' Dent?

I mean besides running "The Bronx is Burning" into the ground.

Royals lost the first game last week at Fenway, too, before winning the next two. Here's hoping ...

I saw little to be hopeful off last night, Oz.
They still look like a Double A team to me .. and here I believed all this talk about how they had improved.

You're right, they're not near good enough to compete in the AL. They would own the NL East, though.
