    I prefer Zeke's description.

I'll be happy when the chase is over. Not that it'll be the end of the story, but hopefully it'll subside a bit. I saw a Braves-Giants highlight on ESPN this morning, and for the life of me, I don't remember seeing the score of the game. I'm sure it was there. But the entire highlight was seemingly pitch-by-pitch sequences of each of Bonds' at-bat. I'm tired of it.

I just hope it ends before high school football starts, which is less than 2 weeks here (at least for two-a-days). We don't have room in our paper for the coverage anyway and once football starts we really won't have room.

Will ESPN do a live break-in on Bonds' at bat?

Bonds vs. Villarreal. Almost poetic, really.

I hope it keeps going and he homers in the 13th.

Dammit. Villarreal is out of the game.
