I'm not saying they will lose the division. I'm just asking for a hex on the Yankees for the next month and a half or so.
A HEX ON THEIR BATS! ;)

Relax, Angola. The playoff berth already is clinched and the AL East title is no longer a distant dream.
One way or the other, the Yankees are in the postseason again and we're looking at a Subway Series.

I figured I would get you back on the most important thread on this board with that post.
Just remember, the Yankees are creeping. Creeping.

Anyone else laugh at the way the Nationals lost tonight? Wow, simply amazing.

Chris Ray out for roughly a month in Baltimore. But has anyone else noticed in spite of all the injuries, Dave Trembley is 17-13 while managing the Orioles? The guy writes a lineup full of shit out and still ends up winning. Very, very under the radar among the names of real good managers.

After 30 games and with a mediocre record the guy is one of the real good managers?

Wow. Nothing like a significant body of work.

I know you are just saying that spirited (sic).
You are trying to fuck with the Yankees winning streak.
All beware of the alleged power of Angola!'s sig. Since I put it in, the Yankees have been gaining ground quicker than BYH jizzes.

The Orioles have the left side of their starting infield on the disabled list, and guys who can't hit for shit starting there instead. I'm not saying he's the next Leo Durocher, but he was in the minors for 20 years getting passed up, and after 2 1/2 months on a big league coaching staffed he got named interim manager. And the team is responding to him. And anecdotally, he's making a difference. Plus he's a great guy to talk baseball with. Even your grumpy old ass would cheer for him.

I am not just saying that Angola.
I am thoroughly convinced that the Indians are toast (two words: Joe fucking Borowski) and there is no other AL team the can be the wild card.
I'm also wary of the Red Sox choking as they did last year.

October in New York will be very busy while the rest of the country licks its wounds and whines about it... or watches the National Thug League on Sunday afternoons.

    OK, I guess.
I still don't trust you as a Mets fan, but I guess as a New York fan I will have to.
I do think the Yankees will win the Wild Card especially with Hughes and Giambi returning next week and they have an outside shot at the division based on the injuries/sucktitude Boston is suddenly suffering.

Sorry, Buck, I need fat fuck Wiuckman to stay right where he is ... blowing games for the Barves so they have no chance of catching the Mets.

'Gola, I'm not sure Giambi's return is going to be a good thing. They started playing better the minute his slow bat and even slower fat ass was out of the lineup

Yanks are a lot more athletic with Giambi out of the lineup. With him, the Yanks really can't hit-and-run, since Giambi is about as quick as JDV. Without him, Yanks have Cabrera, Damon, Jeter, ARod, Matsui and Abreu, all of whom can run.
