Young will look GREAT in left field when Nick Johnson comes back.

I'm thinking I'll play 1B for the Nats before Nick Johnson does again.

Indians about to trade for Lofton, with rumors around town that Isringhausen may be next. ... Any STLSportsJournalists.com have insight on the latter?

Update for CubsSportsJournalists.com ... Murton is coming back up today. He hit .331 at Iowa (though several SportsJournalists.commers could probably pitch for several PCL teams).

Is Mike Hargrove coming back as manager? Jose Mesa is still around too.

    Kenny Lofton. Really? Kenny Lofton?

Yes, that was Dave Dravecky. He ended up having part of his arm amputated if I remember correctly.

Tom Browning also broke his arm throwing a pitch. As did some young guy with the Marlins. Can't remember his name.

Well, in reality I don't want Beckett to get hurt that bad or have his arm amputated. Actually I would rather he wins 18 games and the Red Sox still blow it.

    Haha! Are you channeling Pitino?

They gave up a pretty highly regarded catcher for Lofton? Really!?!?!

Carlos Baerga indeed is walking through that door. Alex Cole is walking through that door. Tom Candiotti is going to walk through that door.

Wow, the Indians get Kenny Lofton.
The Yankees just got a step closer to the wild card.
