Except that they play better defense (much better), play in a pitcher's park, and one of the top five bullpens in baseball, and play in a real division in a real league.

Other than that, they are identical!

  2. according to the Wilmington News Journal, the Phils acquired Tadahito Iguchi from the ChiSox this afternoon. Boy, there's a stopgap measure for ya.

What did Philly give up? Iguchi is hitting around .250, so it better not have been that much.

    Pitching coach's kid.
    In other words, nothing.

Yankees hang on to win the suspended game, 8-7.
Roberts nearly took Rivera deep for a two-run walkoff, but it hooked foul.

I bet they wish they had found a place for Placido Polanco now, instead of trading him.

Boof getting roughed up in Cleveland thanks to some shoddy defense behind him. Peralta with a three-run homer, 5-0 Indians in the third.

One sign you are a bad team:
Runner on 1st, 2 outs in the Rays-Sox game.
Iwamura hits a line drive, hitting Dioner Navarro running the bases.
    He's out, side retired.
    That's the Rays.

I was wondering what happened on that play. Yahoo!'s box had it as Iwamura singles to second, Navarro out at first.

  10. Life A.C. (After Chase) is off to a fools' gold start. 8-0 Phils over the Pirates. Michael Bourn hitting leadoff is 3-for-3 with two runs scored, Burrell has gone deep and Rollins hitting in Utley's spot is 1-for-3.

I love watching Ryan Freel play baseball.

    That is all.

How many outstanding defensive plays can the Reds make in one game? Weird, especially since Junior had a two-base fielding error in the first.
